Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage includes massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears.
The massage is wonderfully relaxing, safe and very effective, with a wide range of physical and mental benefits.
Indian Head Massage can help in cases of:
Stress Neck & shoulder stiffness Tension headaches/Migraine Eyestrain Tinnitus Jaw ache Sinus congestion Insomnia/Disturbed sleep Mental tiredness Anxiety / Depression There is no need to undress (the massage is applied through loose clothing) or lie down and as no oils are used you will be able to carry on with your day afterwards without having to wash your hair.
By concentrating on the areas most vulnerable to stress and tension, Indian Head Massage provides a de-stressing programme for the whole body. Relieving tension in theses key areas unlocks the energy trapped in the muscles, encouraging the flow of blood and thereby re-energizing every part of the body. The results of freeing up this energy are felt on a mental, physical and spiritual level.
Indian Head Massage has a far-reaching effect on each of the body’s systems. It supports the nervous system by alleviating stress. By stimulating the lymphatic system, the process of eliminating toxins is encouraged, and our bodies are cleansed and purified more efficiently. The circulatory and immune systems are stimulated and the respiratory system is reinforced, as deep breathing is encouraged.

Emelye purser
I have been working as a holistic therapist since June 2018. Holistic means whole body healing, so I combine the healing power of Reiki with massage therapies, hypnotherapy and Vision Oracle readings. All of these therapies are complementary, which means that they can be used with prescribed medications.
I am the founder of Intuitive Therapy. I manage my business creatively, by holding workshops at local events and networking by word of mouth, as an open conversation is helpful in so many ways. I enjoy the process of developing a good relationship with clients, and like to be flexible with time and resourceful with my knowledge on how to manage anxiety. In my book “Vision Oracle Loving You,” which is a collection of beautiful guided meditations, that have been created while walking the Dorset coast-line. They are used in therapy sessions, for wellbeing and relaxation. When you have your eyes closed, then listen, everything is understood in a different context. One that is not obvious, and that can work very successfully to explore the finer details of life. I endeavour to inspire creativity to chase away anxiety, and to encourage colour and inspiration into moments of relaxation, every day.
I used this inspiration to host Wellbeing Wednesdays. A much-needed support group for the blind and visually impaired community. The group participated with wellbeing discussions, and listened to my sensory journeys via zoom meetings. This provided a particularly important purpose during the coronavirus pandemic, when virtual journeys became incredibly meaningful. Then when the lockdown rules were lifted, continued to be an important support for those adjusting to the emotional overload, of dealing with crowded places, while struggling with mobility issues. These challenges were addressed in a steady, tactile manner to enforce a positive plan of action going forwards.
My most important traits are being present as a mother, listening to and understanding my children. Giving calm input to each, individual child, and delegating work to them so that we function efficiently as a team to get a job done well. This teamwork makes us stronger as a family and more able to listen and understand each other when the going gets tough.
As a guide dog owner, I know the importance of pacing myself, so that I have the strength to give my best during the preparation of my workspace and throughout an important treatment. I look after my health and wellbeing and endeavour to keep a good work-leisure balance in my family home. I am driven to improve myself physically and mentally, with sailing, kayaking, walking and gardening. I use these times of relaxation to design new meditations for my collection.
On our first meeting, we design a plan of action that we work on together. This plan is usually a blend of therapies that encourages progress, then with patience you can hope to reach a place of balance and creativity.

I am the clinic owner and a qualified Homeopath, Sports Massage & Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, & Bio Resonance Practitioner .
I took over ownership of the clinic in July 2014 and since then it has undergone a complete refurbishment programme. It has now been totally transformed it into a modern, welcoming and comfortable clinic.
My mission is to provide a friendly holistic multi-disciplined healthcare centre, where people know they can come for good health advice and the highest standards in individual holistic care.
I also hold a Licentiate in Homeopathy, awarded by the Contemporary College of Homeopathy where I studied under Mike Bridger, one of the best known and most well respected homeopaths in the UK.
I have been using homeopathy for over 19 years following my son’s treatment of eczema as a baby. We had tried all of the usual creams and the next step was steroids, but I was not happy to go down that route. A friend recommended homeopathy, but I was skeptical and knew nothing about it at the time. However, she persuaded me to give it a go. He was given one pill and 24 hours later his eczema had completely disappeared, not even a hint of redness remained.
This was enough to convince me that homeopathy worked and I have since given up a career as an accountant as a result.
I am also registered and fully insured with the Society of Homeopaths.
In addition I have 19 years experience as a massage therapist offering a variety of treatments including sports massage, Swedish, Holistic and Manual Lymphatic Drainage..
